Visit to Brussels for the Comete and Comete Kinship Annual Reunion

In October each year, members of ELMS join a week-end reunion in Brussels, formerly organised by members of the Comete Line, but now organised with the assistance of Comete Kinship [the second generation of the Comete helpers’ families].

It is an occasion for Comete Helpers and their families to reunite with the escapers and evaders who were passed down the Line during WW2, and also with their families and friends.

During the week-end there are visits, dinners [both informal and formal] and services of thanksgiving and remembrance for the work of the Comete Line. Of particular importance are the short services at the RAF / Belgian Air Force Chapel and the ‘Helper Plaque’, both in the Koekelberg Basilica.
