Visit to the Frederic De Jongh School in Brussels

On 28^th March 1944, Comete Line member Frederic de Jongh, father of one of the Line’s original organisers, Andree de Jongh, was shot for ‘aiding the enemy’.

Frederic was head teacher of Ecole Fondamentale No.8 in Schaarbeek in Brussels. Each year on 28^th March, ELMS member Phil Douglas heads a small party in a visit to the school to pay their respects and to speak with the pupils and teachers.
